Our Learning Programmes

ELATT is a mixed training provider, and each year we enrol up to 80 young people aged 16-25 with special education needs.  Our goal is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for young people who have complex needs.

Most of our students are on the autism spectrum, but we also cater for students with mild or moderate learning differences; including ADHD, mental health conditions and dyslexia.  We can support students with Educational Health Care Plans.

What Ofsted says...

“The pace of learning is particularly good and learners are successfully encouraged to work at higher levels than their previous qualifications and experience would suggest.”
  Ofsted, 2015 (Outstanding)

As a specialist in digital technology training for over 30 years, we offer training in:

Our Sixth Form digital courses last up to a year, and most students start in September. If you missed September start and don't want to wait til the next academic year, please get in touch.

We have small classes of an average of 10 students, allowing us to deliver more direct support to each young person and a high level of individual learning to our students.

How it works...

Courses are between 16 - 18 hours a week and consist of one vocational course plus English and maths if the young person has not already passed their GCSEs.  All students have access to additional learning support for their English and maths, including one to one support whenever necessary.

Our progression and achievement rates are high, well above national averages. In 2017 – 2018, achievement for students with SEN was 94.8%, which is 50 percent higher than the national average of 45.7%.  Students successfully progress into further and higher education and training.
