A project funded through the Mayors Academies Programme and the European Social Fund to support Londoners into good work in the digital sector.

About the Project

London Digital Works supports Londoners with careers advice and guidance, digital skills development support, to gain digital workplace skills and employment in digital jobs and Good Work in the digital sector.
Through this project, the partnership of ELATT and Action West London will improve the chances of under-represented groups achieving employment with tech industries.
The project runs from July 2022 to September 2023 and is open to residents of any of these London boroughs:

  • Brent

Project Activities

Our project provides specialist digital advisors alongside a range of employability support activities such as:

Industry Insight Days with input from digital employers

Tech Workshop

Hands-on practical workshops on real life work environments providing practical sessions and non-accredited training to achieve vendor qualifications.

Mentoring

Matching volunteer IT professionals with participants who are job ready

Work visits and work placements

Job brokerage

Providing a funded initial screening service for partner employers

Support for digital employers seeking to diversify their workforce

Wraparound Support during the project which includes:

Signposting to specialist agencies that work within ELATT

Signposting to specialist agencies, external to partners with robust referral pathways and shared working agreements
